Fog & Filament is an Oregon based studio crafting lighting inspired by the landscapes that surround us—towering evergreens, quiet coastal fog, basalt cliffs, and the soft glow that settles over the Pacific Northwest on gray days. Our lamps blend forest and shoreline influences, with organic curves and sea-worn textures shaped by both inland and coastal environments.

Every piece begins as a digital sculpture and is made one at a time using modern fabrication and nature-forward materials. We work primarily with bioplastics like PLA—renewable, low-impact, and derived from plants—and premium wood-based blends that bring subtle grain and warmth into the final form. Some lamps hide these natural textures beneath layered light; others reveal the striations and fiber like exposed geology. Each design chooses its own level of honesty.

We don’t mass-produce. We don’t rush. Every lamp is crafted here in Oregon with care, intention, and respect for the landscapes that inspire them. The result is lighting that feels personal—pieces that warm a room, soften the darker months, and bring a quiet sense of refuse to any space.
